Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District
Pecan Grove maintains three parks in their municipal utility district. Pecan Grove MUD restricts park use to residents and their guests. The residence district includes Pecan Grove, Pecan Lakes, and Plantation Place.
Pecan Grove’s homeowner associations also provide playgrounds for their youngest residents. Play facilities are located on Windmill Drive, Misty Falls Lane, Farmer Road, Old Colony Drive, and Savannah Drive.
Residents are welcome to bring their pets to any of Pecan Grove’s parks. Pets must be leashed, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. However, the parks do not allow horseback riding. Rules also prohibit glass bottles, alcoholic beverages, firearms, and fireworks.
Pecan Grove Park
Pecan Grove Park is located on Pitts Road in Pecan Grove. Its facilities include a variety of sporting facilities for baseball, football, soccer, and sand volleyball. Unique to this park is a frisbee golf trail, with several disc golf challenges.
Pecan Grove Park has picnic tables and pavilions. Residents can reserve both sporting facilities and picnic pavilions up to 30 days in advance. The park is open during daylight hours.
Plantation Memorial Park
If you are looking for a peaceful walk in the woods, Plantation Memorial Park offers five acres of undeveloped land for exploration. Right now, the park does not have formal amenities, though Pecan Grove intends to add picnic tables in the future. The park is adjacent to the country club on Plantation Drive and is open during daylight hours.
Levee
The Levee surrounds the Pecan Grove perimeter. It is both a hiking and bike trail, though motorized bikes and other vehicles are not allowed. The entire trail is roughly 8.5-miles long. The Levee is open during daylight hours.
